Hi Everybody,
I'm currently working as an outsource in Rapid Metro as Technical Assistant/Civil. I earned a Master degree in Water Resource Engineer after B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

My job application status says shortlisted in Mindtree Portal after 3 round of technical interviews. The recruiter told me he will send an invite for the HR round (10-15 days back) But i am yet to receive any information from them.
Can someone from #Mindtree help me understand what process they follow for recruitment?

haha, even when I was at NTT Data, I bargained for 12 LPA and my manager let me go because I was too costly for the project. Within a month they hired my replacement for 16 LPA. 😂😂

EY GDS and DUSI have almost the same perks and benefits. All BIG 4 work life balance is poor. But the good part is Hikes, Variable pay at par with other service based companies like TCS, Infy, CTS etc.
Job security is the same across EYGDS n Deloitte. Since EY split process might be completed by Q2 - 23.This might help you in terms of career growth and progression. Whenever a split happens, policy, hierarchy and other things might change. Sometimes it will become good benefits and sometimes it might lead to negatives also.

These IT service companies have been under paying folks for a long time, we're just seeing revised salaries right now.

Even if I get 10-12% hike every year un nee company, still it will take another 6-7 year to catch up with salary match if I stay in my current company. And during those years almost 50-70L extra I would be able to earn or may be more.
Want was your current tc ?
Just don't go in any of the IT consultancy like TCS,CTS,Wipro. Soon they will cost cutting, their revenue is only on profit per employee. They won't keep a high paying resource for long.
