Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.
11 YOFE
He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

I'm in England, take CV in and just ask politely if they can have a look at it and if any vacancies come up ,please can they consider you.
I see people having this issue constantly but I don't get it, between last Friday and yesterday I put in around 80 applications across 7 or 8 industries and had 2 interviews yesterday, 4 scheduled for today, along with a job offer from one of the interviews from yesterday. Don't just apply to one place and wait until they review your app and respond before applying to the next. Apply to everywhere that you'd be down to work, then hopefully you'll have multiple places reach out to you and you'll have options. Uploading your resume here or to indeed and using 1 tap apply definitely helps mass applying.
That being said, if you do go door to door, a resume definitely isn't a bad idea. Print out a handful of them so you can leave them if requested. Be prepared to not immediately interview even if they're hiring, as the hiring manager may not be there when you go. Upsell yourself and don't lie but definitely embellish a little, you'll learn as you work and sometimes you just gotta fake it til you make it.
What job(s) are you looking for and where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?
No it really is like that. Mass apply and barely any responses, or interviews saying they aren't actually hiring. Job market is harsh in some places

At the very least, you should take a resume. Otherwise, you’d probably just fill out an application, same as you’d do online. There may be a chance that you’d get an interview from walking in, since you’ve initiated interaction and showed initiative. I wouldn’t walk in without a resume though
