Today I received my provisional full and final settlement and the payable amount is negative -11454. They are recovering the full AMPB amount which I got from September months.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. To those at V25 firms, how do you view your London office in terms of the quality of work we get and overall importance to the firm? Like is there a perception of us being a step down or ancillary to the big leagues of NYC or not? There’s generally a perception here that L&W and K&E are the only US firms where London can even begin to compete with stateside in terms of generating l work organically but would be interesting to know what you all think? Be brutally honest.

How long does it take to loop in first-year associates on deal work? Just graduated and barred, and been working for a few weeks with a big NY firm. But, no substantive work yet assigned. Is this normal? I was expecting billing 40-50 hrs/wk. I'm barely billing 10 a week atm.
