As I cranked up my favorite song of all time this morning, Bob Seger’s ‘Turn the Page’, I realized that while he wrote it about life on the road for musicians, it can easily be adapted to Consultants. So cheers to all of you out there on the stage, taking every ounce of energy and trying to give it all away - you are killing it rockstars! https://youtu.be/3khH9ih2XJg

I think now is the time to escalate. You’ve pointed out, they’ve had the chance to change, note it’s time for them to meet the consequences.
I think the fact he’s trolling might tell you all you need to know about your original post…
“I’ve noticed that your Teams status shows offline. I’m VERY concerned with your behavior. Please show as green and available at my beck and call, or ELSE…”
Include a screenshot of the email you’ve drafted to the senior partner and HR. Also a copy of your performance review based on this matter as a nice little threat to be mindful of your superior position. Also a police report for good measure. You got this OP!

That's a great way to alienate those of us who use hard-focus sessions to churn out amazing work. Instead, it's a great idea to hold a level-setting meeting with your entire team to understand the work styles of every employee so you know who is good at what skillset and how you can support them churning out their best work.

This is such an LEK question…
I’m going to call this out as someone making shit up in the consulting bowl to further drag down LEK. I spent 4 years there and never came across anyone so dumb as to not just talk about it vs post it in a public forum (it never appeared in the LEK bowl first).
Some people are just bitter and contribute to what is perceived as a toxic culture, which I never found myself.
P.s. non-partner/MD, non-HR

It’s always LEK. Also, can’t you just turn on the tracker that you implant on all the junior resources?
etymology of "fulsome"
This seems to be a generational thing. Granted, Teams is still new, but a ton of the new analysts seem to do this.
I’ve had this issue too it shows on my side as busy or available but for everyone else it shows offline. It’s happened to a few people in my team too

If they respond when you ping them then why does status matter to you? Yes, it is annoying but if they want to open that door of everyone can ignore that status then it’s their loss.
Is that during the 9-5 standard hours or outside of that?
I have NEVER worked later than 10pm on a Friday and it was very unusual circumstances. Mostly we're done by 4 or 5 or 6. Thank you...
How can people not understand satire. Blows my mind.
I see a lot of satire but i dont know about this one - as someone who actually works at LEK this is a legit mentality here
It’s time to have a meeting about this
