I don’t think it’s time to panic or immediately lateral, but I also wouldn’t be super relaxed either. As a junior, there’s only so much control you have over deal flow but you also gotta have some hustle.
So all of that said, I’d be proactively raising my hand for work, networking internally, and making sure staffing partners/seniors know I’m available and reliable, etc. Low hours aren’t just about bonus implications or whatever. imo the bigger issue as a junior is lack of reps/training/development if it persists too long.

If you are a first year and it’s centralized staffing, no sweat. If a second year in free market, maybe sweat a little.

Well worst case scenario you get fired and go do the same exact thing somewhere else, for the same exact money. Not much to be worried about.
An associate from a V10 can probably find something somewhere in the V100. I don’t get from this post that this person is particularly concerned about being at the most esteemed group possible or whatever
