I have a wife and 2 kids so it’s tough. But I make it work to still hit 10 hours a day. I work from 9-5 then spend a few hours with the kids until 8/9pm and then do 3 hours or so from 9-midnight. Up at 630/7 to get them ready for the day. It’s not easy but I do the grind so I can support my family and keep them happy so it’s worth it to me

It’s easier for me given my level, but I do have a few people on my team with kids and we work around their schedule. Just gotta communicate and put it the work after hours
This is why I work 75% so I can be online 8 hrs but bill 6. There’s no way otherwise. I’m not working 10 to get 8. Im paid less accordingly
5-6 but I have to force myself to sit down and do that much during non-busy season
Damn. I would not be able to do that. I’m glad my firm isn’t like that. I’m paid 99k with bonuses and while I could go to another firm to make way more, I stop and Remeber your type of firms are out there 😮💨😮💨

During busy season 10+. Non busy season probably 2 per day. My goal for the year is 1250 billables
Genuine question. How do you do 10+ hours of chargeable work 5-6 days a week? If all 10 during the day are chargeable, and you take time to eat, bathroom breaks etc, does that mean you start at the computer at say 8 AM and finish at 8 PM? One hour lunch no charge and maybe 1 hour stepping out no charge? If you only take 15 minutes for lunch, let’s say, this means start at 8 AM and finish at 6:15 PM. This is 10 houses day and 5-6 days a week?
How can one produce good quality work working like this? Are you guys machines?
I can work productively for 5-6 hours a day. More than that, yes, sure. However, my next day productivity will be much less.
Are you guys taking some kind of pills? I can not understand.
Again I just want to understand how do you guys do it?
I see ppl logging in at 8 AM and logging off at 6 PM. The chargeable is 10 hrs daily. This means sat down and did not get up to break for 10 hrs straight 🤷♂️
