Overlap in LWD of old company and new company, New company has joining date of 21th October, but my current company was trying to retain me and my resignation was put on hold. The retained offer was quite less and I rejected the offer. Because of this, my resignation was processed from the day I rejected the offer. now this has led to the 3 weeks of overlap in LWD[7th November] and new company's joining date [21th October]. My current company's manager is not willing to talk, negotiate, buyout.

According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

Whenever I have to put slides together, I doubt myself a million times and it takes too long to make a single slide. I know I have Impostor Syndrome and depression, and the longer it takes to put a slide together, the harder it is to get it done. It’s like I have a phobia for doing the work, but it’s my job as a consultant 😔 I think I fear getting it wrong, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they have coped? Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.
