How does this Amazon offer look for an L5 non-tech PM role in Seattle? I’m coming in with 2 YOE as a startup PM. No MBA.

$130K base, 20 RSUs, $45K sign on over 2 years ($25/20). 1st year TC $160K.

Peeps I have H1b till Sep 2021 but my passport expired in Sep 2020 and along with it my I94. I had already renewed my passport back in Feb but haven’t left the country since. I read online that my presence in the USA is unlawful and staying here unlawfully for more than 180 would bar me from entering US for 3 years. What are my options ?

Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? Planning on going back to home country and also getting the visa issuance in Dec. Similar experience, anyone? Appreciate your input.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

Anyone with experience working at Endpoint Closing? Wondering what the culture is like

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. I don’t want to waste time (colleagues mentioned it doesn’t get much better from here). Do I embrace the suck or look for other opportunities?

Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? Are there companies that will hire by seeing that I am willing to learn and am interested in frontend even tho I don’t have much experience with it yet?

Is it a bad idea to leave tech and try something else if I want to go back to tech eventually? For context I have the opportunity to move to London and pivot into a new field for me but the job is at an agency. I’m in interviews with a few companies. It was initially to see what was out there to negotiate my pay. Now, I’m seriously considering leaving my current company because of what one of the prospect companies represent: everything I want in a company/role. (Plus they reached out to me) AND they will pay me almost double what I’m currently making annually, put me in a position to advance (so many options!!!!!) and allow me to move/travel when I get ready to.

What should I do? Guidance please!!!
