Really paranoid that im going to get laid off and id be screwed big time. Received a 30k signing bonus last May which only came out to around 20k after taxes, yet id have to pay back the entire 30k if
6 figure salary language: I know we are still in a world where saying 6 figure salary means something, but people also said 6 figure salary decades ago when it was more than double its value today, and may have even used the terminology when it was worth many times its value today (I don’t have the full history on when it first became popular terminology.). Do we see the terminology “6 figure salary,” used in esteemed terms, going away any time soon?
There was talk of building a union...What about just a support network? Not a union, but an org that worked to support us in networking, salary negotiations, lifestyle management, skill building, etc?

Hi! Started Fidelity 401k very recently and opted for Vanguard2055 with asset class (Stocks 88%, Bonds 10% , others 2%). Expense ratio is 0.15% . Want to know if allocations are okay or any pointers to look into. I’m 29, new to investing, 15% salary goes to 401k. TIA
