With FAD current in Jan26, when can I expect a decision on my i485? When checked with my attorney, they say it would take 12-14 months, is it true or that’s a worst case scenario?

My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc).
