It’s definitely quieter to work on the weekends. Sometimes I like it sometimes I find it frustrating that I need to work on the weekends.
Yeah for me it’s the fact that I have to work weekends when others don’t that bothers me, but the quietness I do like so it’s a catch 22 really
I love to freelance the weekend because it's quiet, no silly Slack messages to distract you or supervisors disrupting the flow with nonsensical side quests.
I wish day to day I could just mute my teams, so much more would get done !
On the weekends I tend to work on my own projects, so it's relatively relaxed. There are occasions where I'm working on something for which there's a deadline, so those weekends can get pretty busy. But if I'm working on a long-term project for my own amusement, I can move at more relaxed pace.
This sounds almost fun 🤣 but I agree the relaxing pace is much better
Yes. It’s a lot of tying up things from the week, but with a lot fewer people around so it’s not as busy. I feel like I get more done in 2 days on the weekend than all week because it’s a smaller group working.
Yeah thats what I like about weekend work too, a lot more can get done without the distractions
