Pfizer to Publicis- what does it mean?

So I’m guessing a reduction in staff for IPG Health, followed by a migration of said unemployed folks to Publicis, but for reduced salary and working from office doing the same Pfizer work. Its bad for the people in the industry, IMO, and really returns leverage to the holding cos..

I’m staying here unless they cut me though. We will win business. I can keep my salary and still work remotely and not have to move back to the city. QoL for the win.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

I wanted to know if anyone was having issues with their pharma branded Instagram accounts? My brand’s account was fine yesterday and now when you search it it’s not on IG. It’s a business account so it’s fully public. I reached out to a few brand managers and it’s hit or miss on if they’re brand is found. Cleared caches, incognito browser, and all. I’m not sure if IG is down or if something changed with IG and pharma accounts.

Maybe this is the socialist in me but shouldn’t Moderna and Pfizer waive their patent exclusivity for their Covid vaccines? Don’t we have a moral obligation for the world to vaccinate as many people as quickly as possible?

It blows my mind that many countries won’t be able to vaccinate most of their people until 2023. There should be access to vaccine generics
