Depends on your cost of lifestyle. I took 30% pay cut once and was fine until I had to pay for childcare.
Why are you asking anyone about this? If you can afford to live on less and be happy doing it, then do it.
The answers to those questions are up to you. How much less can you live with and be happy.
I would try to consider the full cost of the switch... For myself, I travel constantly, so the job subsidizes a lot of my meals and travel points I use for vacations. That should be included in my salary forfeit, if I moved to a local job
