Typically the stories you share should be a 20-30 minutes
Very detailed. Provide examples of your specific actions. Who else was involved. What you we’re thinking at the time. and what the outcomes were.
I edited my stories from around 10 mins to around 6 mins, factoring in some time interviewers may interject to ask questions or ask questions at the end. I tried my best to cut out as much details about minor issues as possible as to not bore the interviewer. But I lived through all those experiences so I just hope I don’t get carried away talking about them, and then get cut off lol
You have to be flexible. Some interviewers will let you deliver a long monologue and some will butt in with questions 30 seconds in. Gotta be able to drive either in a succinct, compelling way that answers the question directly and makes sure to highlight your specific actions in the best light.
