I’m concerned about the surge in omicron. I packed everything, just in case. Q2 is ending, a new quarter is starting. We get new kids each quarter as a Specials teacher.
It’s stressful at quarter changeovers.
In going back after break, it’s too much of a contrast. I cannot sleep, I wake up in the middle of the night, “for the day”, about 6 nights a week. To stay structured, I go to “Surrender yoga” daily. I’m good to go do 1 more thing after yoga. I feel accomplished. Couching causes anxiety.

Moved from a regional insurance defense firm in the North East to a national AM100 firm. I was told the firm does not offer a 401K match and that it was uncommon for a firm to match. Is that true? My previous firm did have a match.

Home for Christmas. My mom just told me my dad was diagnosed with some rare blood condition last week where your bone marrow stops producing enough new blood cells. More tests later this week, but until then no one else knows and we aren’t talking about it because dad doesn’t want to and they don’t want my grandma to know.
