Pls help, my manager told me he will have to put me on pip if I don't show progress.

I joined this company only a few months ago, the pay is good and the managers are from the US. The expectations are not too much but it's also not an easy going job. Please please help me with how I must take this ahead.

Is there a way they change their minds if I show progress? Or will they forever have this feeling about me. I am more inclined to keep the job than switching for the benefits here.

Cisco CTC - 16.2LPA , Fixed - 15.1LPA - Cisco TAC role.

Verizon data services llc - CTC 18LPA , Fixed - 16.1LPA

YOE - 6.5 Years
CCTC - 7.2 LPA
Tech - Networking and Security

Conflicted between both as I believe Cisco has a better brand value and great company to work for. But the offer from Verizon is competitive.

Is it a good idea to renegotiate with Cisco based on current offer from Verizon. Please share your thoughts.

I am of counsel at a firm where I can set my own rate and keep a percentage of collections, which varies slightly depending on whether the client is one I generated or not. I’m finding that a lot of my work is for firm clients where the lawyer negotiated a flat fee (and the hours worked are less, due to efficiency etc).
