Probably not, but no downside to alert her doctor and have an assessment. Wouldn’t wake until 20 weeks for next check in.
If she’s vomiting, there’s no point in suffering at this point in her pregnancy! Please call your OB and get medication. It’s totally safe to take medication for nausea in your second trimester.
Some peoples “morning sickness” lasts well into 2nd trimester which blows. But for BOTH YOUR peace of minds, always recommend just going to your OBGYN. They (at least mine was) extremely compassionate and patient with me.
Yea one of my friends is currently 6 months pregnant and she has been sick and nauseous her entire pregnancy, like almost every day. Same for her mom. No other issues and everything is progressing well.
I'll say just go and get it cuddled. Nothing too be concerned but just be extra cautious
Diclegis was a life saver for me when i was nauseous during my pregnancy. Doesn’t hurt to call the OB to get some PRN meds and to just come in and make sure everything is ok.
The stomach pains is concerning to me! I’d call an on-call OB right away.
I would call the doctor because of the stomach pains. FWIW, I didn’t throw up until second trimester (around 20 weeks) and it was actually related to heartburn/stomach acid. Drinking caffeine (black tea, well under the daily limit) or taking my prenatals on an empty stomach prompted it for me. I thought eating within 15 min would have been fine but I was wrong 😬. Famotidine and being better about eating first thing got rid of it.
Had an appointment at 15 weeks as well, currently taking unison today just seems more than usual
Thank you all for the responses!
