I’d move on because that is unprofessional
I agree! Also, someone is not on the “ball”!
You’re likely the 2nd choice and they’re keeping you warm in case their first choice falls through.
This happened to me some years ago and a person that sat next to me at the workplace, I was trying to leave ended up being number one.
That's so strange. I've heard stories of people being ghosted, those are weirdly common lately. But this is the first one I've seen that actually involved an airplane. I suppose you should try to get in touch and find out what's happening. It's odd that they'd pay that much attention to you and then just drop it.
Well. Apparently they did the interview and now they're thinking that maybe you're not a match?
Be grateful that this happened, as this is a clear message from them that they do not deserve you.
What employer is doing with you, is they are keeping you on hold just in case something better comes up. Move on.
Yeah I have moved on, just stinks because I was excited for the opportunity!
I would’ve totally understood if they went with another candidate, I just wish they would have told me instead of making me wonder for over a month.
Thanks for the nice reply!
Ghosted. Has happened to me several times. Multiple interviews — all which go amazingly well— just to get blown off. Just keep moving, that’s all you can control. Screw those guys.
What company so I make sure to avoid them!
Yes!
Kind of sounds to me like you got ghosted which seems to be pretty common these days. I would probably send one more email and then move on and try to find something new. Its not professional for them to not even follow up in the timeframe they told you they would.
I interviewed for a position almost 3 weeks ago and they sent me for a drug screen / things seemed positive , i followed up after, they received th drug test which i know is clear, but since then , crickets ! what's up with that 😞
I think they "ghosted" you. Really unprofessional, of course.
