Question: Not a great C&P exam for mental health. The lady literally asked me like 3 questions and like zero follow up which threw me off. I tried to highlight my symptoms but don’t think I did as good a job as my Telemedica appointment. I was expecting like actual questions from them trying to figure out symptoms and if they’re service related or not. Nope none of that. I’m expecting a crap rating, my question- how has the appeals process been for those of you that have gone through it?

How much is too much when pushing for a raise? I’ve been in my position a little over 1 year, received top scores in my annual review, kept my team intact, yet I’m paid at the lowest salary band for my level. Manager has said multiple times she would look into a raise for me but nothing has happened. Person before me in this role was earning +$17K than me. How many times do I have to ask?

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.
