I have lost 8 pounds already in 5 weeks, and gaining muscle steadily- almost no changes to my very desi food centric-diet. Check him out, you will not be disappointed as long as you stick to his plan for you!
Anyone been to lisbon Portugal lately?
What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

stay home > anything else > option 2 > option 1
More likely to intersect with quality sleep / naps over more even flight times. Long flight + short flight means your sleeping bet is all on flight 1. If that goes bad, you might be facing very choppy / shortened sleep on flight 2.
We did a number of NYC - Europe flights with babies, but that’s a single 7-8 hour stretch.
Option 1 💯 and bring some similasan, ear drops, in case they’re ears won’t pop. All the meds really, never know what they might have show up after you’ve left. Most of the time it goes just fine. But what it goes wrong, it’s usually news worth and they’re ain’t nothing you can do about that anyway.
OP - did this trip past summer with our 8mo old at the time. We went with Option 1 and took the flight around 10pm. I used my points to get business class and my son slept through the entire flight! If you have points def worth the upgrade.
13+4 for sure. No matter what happens on the first flight, you’ll settle into the 2nd flight knowing that it’ll be over soonish as opposed to EIGHT HOURS.
1st child, travelled by plane in lap - 2x 4 hrs at 6 months, 16 hours at 7 months, 2x 8 hours at 9 months, and another 16 hours at 10 months. All very manageable. Biggest factor was the number of help, 2-3 adults taking turns. What we noticed was infants under 1 were much more behaved than toddlers. Also you will get paranoid with the amount of people coughing on the plane
Haven’t done that yet, but did TATL with a connection + delay. What worked best was to have the longest flight second, if that is an option.

First, ask your pediatrician, he (she) can advise you about your child reaction to pressure changes and also on what meds you might need to have at hand.
Second, consider your baby sleeping cycles, that might give a hint on how to optimize your trip timings avoiding discomfort
