My friend just told me her commute expense is $1000 a month for her and her husband. Though they live in bumblef*ck jersey with a huge house. Not sure it's worth it. I walk to work or citibike so prob $15 a month with occasional Uber rides here and there. Max $50 a month.
I subway on the way to work and expense a company cab home. On weekend probably like $20 worth of ubers. So maybe a little over $100?
My transit is pre-tax for the subway, plus a little under $100 in cabs, Uber, etc. This includes my fiancé since my Mint account has our joint card.
Cant cheap out on transport when you work this kinda jobs. Time is valuable.
Jesus. I spend like £67/mo on tube fares. Maybe a bit more if I go out a few times. That's it.
About $1000 on ubers
Was spending about £850 a month until recently on commuting into London. Love having a nationwide team now, means I can base myself anywhere, which primarily means in the same town as my home!
Yes. Considering the cost pressures we're under I'm staggered.
