How many YOE? That looks like a good offer, I think there are SMs below that in base.
Your base is high for CDO so they must really want you for your skills. It’s harder to transition but if you make the right connections and are willing to travel you can do it.
13 years of experience
Take it
That’s good for CDO. Ask about the bonus though. As a 7 you should get global and independent bonus. See how much as historically been paid out.
How hard is it to switch to other service lines from CD&O? If I was to receive a manager offer in other service lines would the base still be good?
CDO is considered second class at ACN when it comes to comp, but not the case for you and a small but significant subset of people.
From a day to day perspective, people don't treat CDO and CM differently... you are either capable of handling client relationships or not, regardless of alignment.
To answer your question, in 2021, "Career Tracks" (CDO, CM, etc) will be replaced by some new - yet to be defined - thing, that is probably similar but slightly different. If you're managing client relationships it will probably be easy to switch to whatever the new first class org is.
Thanks for the info! Generally how much does Senior Manager makes average base at Accenture?
Based on last salary you’re already making higher base then almost all non strategy SM as well as some exp hire SM.
I didn’t even know manager base could be that high! Lol ur gonna skew the whole cdo gets paid less than Client market argument haha. Anyways why leave Microsoft? I planned on going from Accenture to Microsoft
The offer is good. Doubt you’re gonna find better. Just don’t expect raises until you hit SM.
