Yeah I’m confused by that too, they said the same thing to us, but ended up not charging us or insurance. Your point is probably the right one, I think they were still figuring it out when we went.

Too bad we can’t all be data analysts.

Has anyone used “documentation of having recovered from Covid” to get back into the US? Flying home from Mexico on Feb 4th, tested positive for Covid on December 17. This is a little far out but I have always wanted to study abroad and never got the chance because of covid. I'm thinking once I have about 4-5 years of working experience in PA, to take a year off to go abroad to learn the language or teach English and then come back to industry. Has anyone done anything similar? Would doing this affect my career prospects or progression if I stop working for a time?

Joining the ranks of those being laid off due to Covid, I’m now looking to go freelance. Having worked as an Agency Producer my entire career, but jobs now being scarce I’m looking to broaden my horizon and also seek work in Production Companies.

For those of you who are doing both, or did the switch, what did you find most different or challenging going from Agency to Production Company side? Was there anything that threw you off or that you hadn’t anticipated? Any regrets? Pitfalls to avoid?

I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.

How should I approach her in the upcoming year?

I have been an RDH for 30 years. Looking to transition to something different with better pay. Since COVID the dental field has suffered a mass exodus in my area. Short staffed, overworked & under paid. Newbies are offered same pay rate + sign on bonus due to lack of applicants. Job is too physically demanding after 30 years. I have a BS in Dental Hygiene Science with a specialty in medically compromised patients. Any suggestions?

Hi 🐠, I’m at 2 YOE making around 100k in TC and trying to decide on my living situation next year. I can continue renting a 1br at about 1800/month, or in the current market is it worth it to buy a condo? It seems like you can get alright places downtown for 250-300k which works out to a monthly payment around 2k inclusive of the HOA. In my position, would you guys continue renting until you can afford a nicer place or pull the trigger on a condo?
