Received offer at EY as Senior in People Consulting. Coming out of a cut from PwC. Can anyone share the culture at EY now, especially after layoffs last year? Anyone able to offer insight on culture, benefits, perks etc as compared to PwC. I did read the Better You info so know the basics.

I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo. If I don’t get the promo nor a salary increase that I’m okay with, how do I let my partner know that I will begin to entertain outside offers? some of which have offered the manager role.

Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. PwC 🐠: Be careful trying to switch competencies. A colleague of mine tried to move and got laid off in the process. Make sure you have the Partners approval first. (On the receiving end)
