Recently flew RT from IAH<>JRO. Booked through United, most of the legs were on Ethiopian Airlines. Spent around $1200 on economy.

Somehow walked away with 30K miles and ~3600 PQPs? Maybe worth calling out is that the accruals didn’t appear until I filled out the missing miles form, and United customer service upgraded two of my shorter legs to economy+.

Any thoughts on how I ended up with so many PQPs? Would love to ride this train to 1K!

My fiancé and I both have the CSR card and Freedom Unlimited combo and love them. We are thinking of adding another card and we were considering the Amex Platinum (to diversity transfer partners) or likely a United card for lounge access since we live in Chicago.

As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person).
