Recently on a panel someone asked my best piece of advice for navigating corporate America. My response was: have an opinion and speak on it. Often times in these environments employees feel like they can’t challenge the status quo, leadership, etc because those people know what is right. Wrong! Your voice matters, your thoughts matter. It may not always be received as well as we hope, but don’t silence yourself to make anyone comfortable especially in these environments. Thoughts?
