Recieved a full-time offer for a Strategy Consultant position within the ASCDP. Should I take it, or look for consulting roles elsewhere? Not looking to travel much, looking for reasonable W/L balance and I care more about the culture/team I'm on then the specific work I have to do.

Currently my base is 139K, SC2 commercial and the target promotion year is 2022. What % of base salary hike I can expect with exceptional ratings if I get promoted as planned? 👏

I am a ft interior designer, full time mom that also does part time photography on the side. I currently make 90K as a designer and bring in around 20K as a photographer/yr. I have a “commitment to an offer” at 150-170k from a BB. They said they can’t give me the offer until Feb/March until they ramp up their current hires and figure out their budget, but the HM said the best thing I can do is to get another offer to use as leverage.

I’m about to receive an offer from a different company at 100-115k. Would much rather work at the BB (better company/position). Is it even worth me bringing this offer to use as leverage, or is the salary discrepancy too much?

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Any advice would be appreciated!

So im starting to lead meetings with clients but I always find myself going back and forth with the client trying to get more information following the initial WT which I feel is annoying . Is this normal or do I need to do a better job of writing out questions and agendas prior to the meeting.

Anyone here moved from EY to Accenture? Curious to know how was the shift, pros and cons for each company, any regrets? Waiting for an offer from Accenture but very conflicted on whether I should leave EY. Been there all my career and going to be a big jump.

Stupid me thought Accenture is different. Like any other consulting firm, some MDs literally gave away their soul to the devil once you got promoted.
