I'm having the last loop interviews with Amazon for an analyst position, but I'm realizing that it might not be the right place for me, I'm currently working at hpe and have a good balance, 11+ YOE, I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. Can someone tell me about what level sales ops analyst job might be? I looked for range salaries and it looks like it is 55k for Germany, so not really much of what I'm earning now.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

West Loop/Fulton Market area
What are you looking for in a neighborhood? Hyde park is great, but if you're looking for bars, restaurants and a little bit more of a social scene its not the location you want to be in. Also, you're taking the metra or a bus, no L which isn't the most convenient - unless you own a car which still isn't the most convenient in Chicago. Overall is diverse and does have a neighborhood feel and some get restaurants but again depends on what you're looking for in your location.
Hyde Park is fine, but you’re in a bubble with a lot of pretty bad areas surrounding Hyde Park. Depends on what you’re looking for. Younger and want more going out, Wicker Park, West Loop, River North, Lincoln Park could be options. Looking for a quieter vibe but still has some life? Roscoe Village, Lincoln Square, Noble Square are all good spots. Lived in Chicago nearly all my life and each neighborhood has its ups and downs, just check the crime reports to see where you really don’t want to be
Even if you're ubering, getting to and from Hyde park will be very terrible.
C2, Hyde Park is not dangerous, it is just an island and surrounding areas are. U of C essentially owns the entire neighborhood and has a private police force patrolling it. Don’t talk out of your ass. That said, would be super far away from the airport and nightlife so would not recommend for a consultant.
I would recommend Roscoe Village, North Center, Lakeview West. Great safe neighborhoods. A couple Whole Foods, Trader Joes... friendly to the downtown and ORD commute. Lots of places have good square footage. Some even offer backyard and/or rooftop space. Parks are plentiful! I know a great realtor if you’re interested.
M1 is right, need more context, lots of great options depending on your needs.
Well really I’m looking for good square footage for the money and convenient to downtown. I’ll take an Uber to ORD that’s not an issue. Wanna walk to the parks, etc.... not really a bar person. Close to a Whole Foods would be ideal
Wicker park
South Loop
Lakeview my dude
Yeah bro, from Hyde park, you may spend more time in traffic than you do in the air.
East lakeview
Will you travel for work? If you’re cool with SWA, Midway isn’t too bad but ORD will be a bitch to get to from Hyde Park
Lake Shore East
Wicker park or west Lincoln park
What’s your budget? Looking for a 1BR apt?
I'm in River North but will likely buy in Lakeview East. Close to downtown, close to the beaches, tons of nightlife within walking distance, etc
Hyde park is dangerous! Go more up north
