Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

I have been in the big four and I know the work culture there is just not good. So I never recommend it to anyone.
product based anyday.. given that your skills align with the role they are offering..
For any level Manager and below I would say EY GDS as you get better exposure in terms of different clients and projects. Once you are more senior and need more work life balance, move to product based company.

But not actually technical work, of course you will learn to manage people, projects , presentations, etc. Nowadays most of the teams are geographically distributed , it's not a big deal. In EY, you are billed for a client based on specific tasks and timeline, long hours of working. You basically won't get time for your personal life or learning and upgrading skills. Technically you can't crack interviews in product companies

I'm from EY, I won't recommended GDS , rather I will recommend you to attend interviews to a product company
