Anyone in SoCal?
Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Don't do it. Waste of money (from personal experience)
Demand GAP insurance as a part of the lease agreement. Also check w your IFA OR tax person about how much of the payment will be tax deductible. Lastly, calculate the total lease payments and subtract the MSRP minus 8%. If the number left divided by 60 (5 yr standard finance) is less than your lease payment, it's a good deal. Example: $40,000 car, $500 a month 3 year lease w $2,500 down; $18,000 in lease payments + $2,500 = $20,500 out of pocket. $19,500/60 months = $340 per month financed. Good lease deal.
Go to dealer on last day of month or quarter - when they are scrambling to hit their OEM sales targets and bonus payouts.
Review edmunds forums to know what deals other people are getting
For a lease, you want to be aware of time of year. Closer you are to end of spring/early, closer you are to end of model year production ending. They don't give much of a deal at that point and you'll be paying far a car that is closer to end of sales/lease life than the person who go there's in August or September (they start next model year production in July/August timeframe).
Studies show leasing a car is way more expensive than financing it .. just buy one and sell it later .. you will lose money either way but it will be a lot less this way!
