Seeing a lot of Ops leaders hyping up the “AI first workplace” – that's like a construction manager saying “Hammer first building site." Great, you’ve got a new tool, but who's going to read the blueprints? AI's great, but let's not forget who's boss. #RealOps #TechWithPurpose #HumanOverHype

😬🤣 maybe it’s a user that’s hired last week? AI is only as good as the architect as with any tech… if you don’t know the details it’s as good as coming out the box and not even an MVP. Set the guard rails for the regulations in the jurisdictions or line of business if any… lock governing procedures e.g. no outside enterprise searching so the Generative AI doesn’t get confused with “crap”… that’s a good one for our data analytics 👍🏾 set the language criteria for the users with definitions some taxonomy… collaborate with a prototype… pilot? Need the humans!! Someone has to think and analyze 🤔🥴

Hi everyone! In your experience, what is the one tool / must-have / methodology any of your companies use to bring about a cohesive and comprehensive go-to-market strategy in the launch of new products and services? As a company scales, coordinating cross-functionally and across time zones is becoming increasingly challenging so we have identified that we need frameworks or tools to help us go-to-market in a less clumsy, more coordinated fashion. Would love to get your ideas on this.

Has anyone left, or had an associate leave, a small firm and remain of counsel or in some other capacity to assist with a handful of matters going to trial? How did you structure compensation? Don’t want to leave my boss in the lurch with some big cases going to trial at end of year but also can’t use those as excuses to stay. Would like to offer a reasonable proposal. Even if boss turns it down, I’ll feel better about knowing I offered to help.

I recently gave my small firm notice that I am leaving and moving to another state. I mentioned that I am considering starting my own practice in the new area, and the managing partner suggested that I transition to an “of counsel” position at a 1099 hourly rate (remote) while I got started. I thought the rate was a bit low, but I’m not sure what to compare it to. Anybody have any experience with these arrangements? Any advice on how to structure? Or if it’s worth it? Any input is appreciated.

(1/2) Hi all, based in the UK 🇬🇧, would appreciate your advice on how I could break into product management.

Context: Graduated in 2019 (Finance), 2 years at EY as a business consultant on mix of pmo projects and tech projects where I was developer (data vis, power platform, sql, vba, data analysis etc.). Joined Google on a 6 month contract as a data analyst.

Should I be applying for product analyst roles? Should I apply for strategy consulting? Could I go straight for prod mgmt roles?
