I’ve yet to work with anyone smart or capable in their role. No one knows what they’re doing, they are horrific at scoping projects, and the place is a political wasteland. I didn’t have any opinions of it before working here but am absolutely shocked at how this place has managed to stay in business operating they way it does. Most of the people I’ve worked with have only ever worked at Edelman, which would explain why none of them see any problems in the way they work and think they know how to do their jobs. To top it off I’ve never seen such rampant title inflation anywhere. They post jobs where the salary range is an entire band below what the title should be because people here are promoted to titles they have no business being in.
Ok all you Edelman folks sound like you have been through the ringer. I am so sorry. Godspeed

Hot mess. Run by toxic narcissists who don’t understand how numbers work. Recently left and I feel so much lighter and more human.

I cant tell if the Edelman hatred is an actual problem or some is just normal corporate/agency issues. But I consistently hear bad things which has me staying clear.
Literally, stay away.
Consulted there for years, which is a good way to not engage in the ever-present politics that never seem to go away. Not the most intelligent group, but more of the "we've always done it this way - cookie-cutter approaches if that helps.
