It's shitty but I'm not entirely sure what it is that you're documenting or "protecting" her from? Micromanaging isn't illegal. Just warn others not to take gigs under this person is they're awful to work with. Or am I missing something in the story?
What are steps she can take to document her manager's behavior. Can't escalate as mgr's boss is friends with her and hired her! A few internal freelancers and I are trying to see how we can protect all FL in the future in this position. TIA!
:(
Jesus was your keyboard missing keys? This is almost unreadable
Geez fat fingers on the go. Didn't know there was a grammar and spelling police here🤪
Your friend’s working for Chuck McBride?
Hate to say it but agree with Account Director 1 here. Micromanaging isn't illegal so what's the point of documenting anything if she's leaving in a week?
At this point just spread the word that said manager is terrible to work with and to be wary when booking a gig at that company. Done.
Unless the manager is doing something illegal or unethical, in which case legal action is required... What is the plan here?
We in SF would love to know who the crazy manager is, or at least where to avoid them....
