Will people on notice period get hike letters?
Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

If it's been a year that contract is probably "expired". Check the dates on that. Your client will have had a contract with them too so they've probably made the same calculation, but you can ask as well. If you're not quite out of the contract yet (say there's a month left) you can mention to your client "Hi, I'm still bound by the terms of the contract I signed with [recruiter] until March 30. If you need to get started right away we'll have to work through them." and see what they say (you can let the inference that this will be easier after March 30 dangle). The recruiter doesn't own you and this client relationship forever though.
That’s a good point the client should have a contract with them as well. And yes that’s exactly my concerns, I worked hard to have this trust don’t want to ruin it. Thx for pointed it out.

FORGET the staffing agency buddy.. go go go!
Agree with AD 1. Bad business practice to break non-competes, etc. Could cause trouble for the brand and you and make clients question if they can trust you
