I'm debating whether I should bother tailoring my resume with special tools for each job I'm applying to. It seems like overkill, not to mention a little expensive. I'm just not clear on how much AI ATS systems use. Are these systems less AI-driven than I think?

Had two rounds of interviews for an in house role and really like the company/job. I followed up Friday regarding next steps and was told they are still interviewing and should be wrapping up soon. I felt this is a desirable ask but we didn't have enough budget to accomodate. Now we are going back to drawing board to reshuffle the budget for next FY, what would be an apt scale for someone with the profile above?
