Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.

Need advice. I’m a super senior content EP at a well known agency in the U.S., where I’ve been for quite some time. Checked out http://Glassdoor.com, and I make at the high end of the ranges for similar agencies. In the past year I’ve also taken on additional responsibilities (outside of traditional EP duties) that have doubled my workload and raised my profile quite a bit. How should I go about brining up a sizable salary bump (some creatives and even planning peeps earn more with much less responsibility)?

Their hands are tied from the holding company. Holding companies are in a TERRIBLE place financially. Almost every single raise goes through them.
I’d suggest leaving. Get a new job that pays you what you’re worth!

Result: They agreed that my performance is great. However, said all they can do right now and that their “hands are tied” by parent company. 🤷🏼♀️
100% guarantee that if you said that you believe it’s a gender issue, since they agree your performance is great, they’d find the money.
