Filed for H1B extension cap-exempt. Extension got approved. Not stamped yet. Now I am moving to jpmorgan. JPMC ready to send USA after one year if H1B can be utilised. Wanted to know if H1B employer can be changed in india (unstamped visa). ?

If we go there, she will have a work assignment. But I won't have any work assignments in Canada.

Meeting with a recruiter at one of the FAANG companies. I won’t be able to move jobs because of H1b /GC at least for the next year. Any idea if I should start off with that or should I just try to understand the work that they have been doing?

I believe most members of this group are tense & anxious owing to the uncertainty surrounding H1b. Can we have members post some positive stories here ? Cases of extension/transfer approval( w/wo RFE)

Visa friends! Had an interview in London, got the verbal, and am doing the visa dance. Started the process 2 weeks ago with HR and now they've ghosted me since then, though they said I have stuff to fill out ASAP. Normal? And am I too American pushy if I reach out to the hiring manager (and my future team) for an update instead?

What is the obsession and appeal for MBB among MBA grads? Is it really that amazing - from afar it seems like it may be romanticized (maybe not the right word) among applicants. I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.
