So are torrid, spicy affairs limited to mid/big law? Is small law too small for scandals?

No, despite being small law, those are even bigger scandals.

Juicy gossip from paralegals: I knew a small firm where a partner slept with all his secretaries and paralegals. Of course, it was a revolving door of them because every time the affairs ran their course, the secretaries or paralegals would leave. Then, the partner would hire another. Rinse and repeat.

Got hired on part time for equity to do corporate strategy at a startup and that funding should hit in the Fall. Now it sounds like funding isn’t likely until we get a better following and I’ve been asked to do one reel and one blog a week (for minimal equity only) with all of my own content (photos, videos etc)
Ik it’s a startup but I feel like this is taking advantage of resources and I don’t give away my photos for free. Am I being too stubborn?

2nd year assoc. here. Finding myself spending 3-5 hours researching/analyzing issues that should only take 1-3 hours. 7 year lawyer here. Been with the same big national firm all 7 years (not BigLaw) doing complex litigation. Been working remote a long time due to moving around for wife’s job.
