I’m a male in my late 20s and am generally pretty healthy but responsiveness to mental health concerns is a big plus!

Does anyone have a list of the things (food, drink, other OTC meds) that make adderall less effective? I know I can simple google search and ask my doctor but want to hear other peoples thoughts…I love drinking my coffee to wake me up in the morning but I’m afraid it’s making my meds less bc of its acidic nature 😵

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? Embarrassing to admit but I have a hard time putting my phone down and I’m sick of wasting my time. I’ve only found ones that allow you to block access to selected apps but it also allows you to end the blocking period whenever you’d like (thus not really helping my ADHD impulses). So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

I’ve been getting into a healthier routine and make a meal replacement smoothie every morning. I bought a bunch of palisade peaches from a stand and chopped some up and froze them.

Mixed them up today with some OJ, Fairlife milk, unflavored protein powder, spinach, hemp seeds and chia seeds. Best smoothie yet!
