I got a new job at GT and have to do a background check. I have all the info for the previous 2 firms I worked for but I still had on my resume my experience back when I was in college in the retail world and now I’ve been working for a small construction company helping with some bookkeeping and payment processing for contractors (15 hours a week nothing formal). Should I not include them in the background check as they only care about my public accounting experience? Or I could check with HR?

Background checks at GT?

I thought the test was can you fog a mirror.

Filled one out for another opportunity and I don’t recall it specifying how far back to go, but I only went back to the relevant experience and passed it ok. I figured the worst could be that I didn’t add everything rather than falsifying anything.

Usually they ask for a certain number of years back. List everything in that time frame.

They will ask for documentation for all jobs you have listed on the resume you used to apply. HOWEVER, GT used a third party called Sterling. It’s a complete joke and I wouldn’t sweat about it.

Hello, I was wondering about which companies usually hire for entry level ServiceNow role?

I’m currently doing large scale Oracle ERP implementation and I am having difficulty finding companies that hire entry level roles. I switch fields recently so I only have around 9 months of experience and I find that most ServiceNow position requires 2+year in ServiceNow :/

Background - I recently got the Certified System Administrator for SNow, PMP and CSM

Any insight appreciated, thanks!

Litigators—how many different cases are you on?

Been feeling spread too thin lately but I don’t know whats typical. Curious what others do. And would you mind sharing whether you’re a junior, midlevel, partner, etc??

I realize sheer number of cases doesn’t tell the whole story… obviously you can be buried on one massive case. I’m finding it hard to jump back and forth between everything I have going on right now, though, but I don’t know if the answer is to just deal with it.

Am I understanding utilization rate correctly? It’s chargeable time over total time? Charged 40 hours and had 10 hours non-charge so my utilization is 80%? If so, wouldn’t it benefit me to understate non-charge hours so my utilization is higher since they only really care about chargeable time anyways? Charge 40 hours still but only put 5 hours non-charge for utilization to be 89% instead of 80%? Or am I misunderstanding how utilization works?

I know I'm in the minority here (and I swear this isn't a brag) but is anyone else less stressed this busy season working from home, and finding issues focusing because of it? I'm able to sleep throughout the night and not wake up early (which is a huge negative right now) and literally feel no need to stay glued to my computer as in prior years. Am I broken?
