Once it's on the internet, it's there forever. If she doesn't care about that and thinks paying off debt is worth it, I guess go for it. I wouldn't in a million years.

Her thought process is that she will not be this good looking forever and her only shot at paying her debt is by doing this.
I get the concerns, but at 27 years old, I think you're old enough to weigh those decisions on your own. You could try to make sure they know what they’re getting into, but something tells me they already do.

Looks like she decided that she will do it. Its her choice. Its unfortunate that she would do this after getting an advanced degree in something. Society does not reward education much anymore these days
If she wants to do it, that's her choice. I don't necessarily feel like it's a big deal, as long as she doesn't feel coerced into it. Whilel it's not something I would ever pick for myself, lots of people do.
Agreed. Its not going to go anywhere for her. My niece got screwed got some great photos but nothing as far as a career. They promise you a lot but its all a scam to get money from you!
I am writing as a professional, and a mother of the 27 year old daughter. Like most interviews, she may wish to interview a like person in the industry before she makes her final decision. Additionally she may wish to consider where she wants to be in five years. Money is helpful, however we need to be satisfied and happy in our work.

This is a helpful response. I just find it disturbing. She was saying stuff like how studies show that a healthy sex life improves longevity and how being an adult actress she gets paid and gets happy chemicals such as dopamine, serotonin, etc. its not my choice, its ultimately hers. I wish the PT industry would just pay her fairly so she doesn’t do this.
Just like being a stripper. Gotta keep your head sharp and on a swivel. Get your money 💰 and get out.
Oh wow. That was not where I thought you were going with that. I would be so uncomfortable with a job offer like that. But in todays day and age people will do anything.
Big law Attorneys do this all the time who get hired by a corporate client after working for them through a firm for a few years. It doesn’t sound like your coworker is doing anything wrong. Everyone’s situation is unique and I wouldn’t worry about her decisions.

This is helpful. I didn’t know that attorneys are struggling financially leading them to entertain this as well. Its quite unfortunate how the world is going in this direction. She is educated with a doctorate degree and it seems like she trusted the wrong industry by being a PT and now she is like might as well try this because apparently education didn’t work. Seems like a difficult field in general. APTA doesn’t even support its professionals. Is law really this bad also?
