How many of y'all spent any time in Englewood? About as much as these comments suggest, I imagine. CPD data makes the point: Englewood reports much higher levels of violent crime relative to River North (rates 6-9x higher). No amount of violence is acceptable but come on folks, some evidence-based perspective please.

I’m confused about what the point is. Englewood has been bad for a long time. All Brandon and company have done for them is double their property taxes.
The entire city has gotten more dangerous under the last two far-left mayorships.
I debunked this leftist ideology that Chicago is safer "just look at the data durrr". The leftist 12 yr old mind will only see the amount of crimes "reported" (probably a fabricated #) trending downwards in the Chicago crime database. The issue is that the amount of arrsests for crimes reported over the past 2+ decades has decreased significantly by close to 70%. Do the math lefties.

Turned out there were 2 separate incidents within a week. One in the parking garage and the other in its bathroom
