My company hosts happy hours but I don't drink. Is it rude to just skip them?

I recently had a specialist partner send me a fairly nasty email after I (a transactional first year) was told to ask them to review something ASAP that had clearly been on my partner’s radar for over a week. Why am I taking the (honestly justified) blame for this? Surely it should be obvious that I’m just the messenger here.

Well, we were the only team on a pitch. We won and still have to hear my boss complaining about me.

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. Is it actually safe for my manager to ask me to drive my truck in the winter? I normally wouldn't mind since I've done it before, but this particular guy just told me to "drive slow" instead of providing me with the necessary safety measures to avoid accidents.

I will say this I love working with the students . I love getting to know them . I smile to myself when I go to work . I still feel this way after last week being asked my three different people about doing something where I told them that I was not going to do. following day I was then ambushed by admin (where I have never felt more like nothing. I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up.
