Someone in HR (an acquaintance) told me that big-MNCs prefer other big-MNC hires, rather than hiring someone from a startup. That "pedigree"/"track record" of working only in MNCs is better than startup employees.
Does anyone know if it's true or if it's just a rumour?

I’ve accepted an offer from a firm. Had to revise my joining date and the HR sent an email confirmation for the revised doj. I received an onboarding portal link from another HR, on their portal it’s mentioned my joining is in January which is even earlier than the joining date I received before on my OL which I got revised later on. I have usually seen people taking sick leaves when workload is more and there is more responsibility coming in team. But I always hesitate to ask for leaves, I feel I'm doing something wrong. At the same time I'm exhausted with work and feel like I should be taking 1-2 leaves per month. Even in new organization it's been 4 months, I have not taken even a single leave.

How to deal with these thoughts? It looks like job is taking control over my mind and health.
