OP, EY1 on your post was right on. If you already have an offer from company A, tell that to the recruiter for the client's company so they can accelerate the process. Ultimately it will be up to you to decide where you want to go. Also, if you stay with company A, you won't burn a bridge with your client. They wanted to give you firs dibs on the role because you have done good work for them and they want you in the team. Best of luck.
Thanks. I feel I am partly at fault. I don’t know to say no. When I already got offer from A I should have not gone ahead with interview with client in the first place.
And I am observing some HRs are making it difficult to say no when you say you are happy with offer that you have. They are saying they will give more and we should atleast attend. One HR didn’t leave at all, I attended and gave the interview badly and came out in 20 minutes.
Any tips on learning to say no in a way that it goes well without affecting anyone ? Thank you.
