Spent 6 years in PwC CMAAS. Currently Director of Technical Accounting / SEC Reporting at a Life Sciences company. Wanting to switch to fintech (I’m a bitcoiner - passionate about the space overall). That said, having a hard time making the switch due to limited experience in that space, and think I might need to go back to a firm to rebrand.

Curious to get thoughts. Would going back to a firm be feasible? I’ve been out of public 4 years, seems like firms went ice cold on hiring.

I’m struggling at the moment to gauge how much I should be getting paid in my position as i feel I’m heavily underpaid for the work I do, which includes managing digital marketing operations across 12+ countries, manage the studio/creatives plus lead on any campaigns and strategies, etc. I’m also remote UK-based although my company is international.
