Is it too cringe to be extra nice? I am an associate with under 1 YOE and I think i have a lot to learn from people around me. Since I believe I dont have same level of expertise as my seniors, I am usually too nice (eg: saying thank you for everything and reacting with Smiling face rather than a like). the only thing i can give back to those helping me is gratitude but I see some people are really professional and I feel cringey or a teacher’s pet for overcompensating.
