I find that you used the word woke is interesting. It shows that you are not familiar with the true meaning of the word. It means to be politically aware, but the MAGA people corrupted the meaning of the word tomean something else
The county I grew up in is a predominately Mexican-American county that flipped for Trump. I heard it was mostly because of inflation and low turnout from Democratic Latinos. Idk how big of an issue “Latinx” was for Mexican-Americans in California but I don’t recall it being on the Harris platform lol

This is a terrible response. The Trump campaign was able to successfully use gender culture war issues to increase turnout but labeling Latino men as inherently more misogynistic than other Americans taps into some of the same racialized narratives that Trump used to launch his campaign in 2016. At the end of the day, Dems ran a weak campaign at the top of the ticket. The buck ends with the president and the presidential candidate.
If they're that triggered by words then I don't think the words are the problem.

“They” as in Latinos? Pretty sure that reason is not exclusive to Latinos.. plenty of blacks and whites fell for the “economy is in the tank” lie that republicans pushed.
It’s the fact that whites tried to force it on Latinos to virtue signal. It butchers the Spanish language, as you use the masculine tense when referring to both genders. Only one percent of Latinos use it, and most older people don’t know what it is. But young Latino men do. The party is too soft, and it needs to move to the center to win back Latino men in the next cycle.

You don’t speak for all of us Latinos. If some did, that is an incredibly trivial reason why they would vote for Trump, and can tell you that was not the main reason. The problem, really, is and has been the media.
Just sharing my opinion. Never claimed to be the voice of Latinos. But I’m a first gen immigrant, so I think I know more about it than all the woke people on social media

And I know the nuances between the meanings of Hispanics and Latinos. One country does not make a huge difference. Also, plenty of people use the term “Latin” to refer to Latinos.

Dude, it was shown that an alarming amount of voters genuinely believe Kamala wanted to fund transgender operations for illegal immigrants in prisons or something along those lines. The problem is not “Latinx” it’s misinformation. The average voter has become completely out of touch with reality.
Democrats spent $1.5 billion knocking on doors (which the data shows is an inefficient and ineffective way of winning voters) and getting Oprah Winfrey’s endorsement. The right wing spent theirs winning the information war.
