Stricter restrictions on UK graduate visa in '26. I'm still on placement year (graduating in '27). I've been trying to get as much experience that I can, right now I have one year on varied short internships and will have another year from my placement.

Do you think it is still viable for me to actually get sponsored considering the requirements and the cost have increased so greatly? I'm just feeling hopeless that all the efforts and hard work probably equals to nothing

Hoping for a bump at next review. Should I mention it now? Will either kick epic ass or fail massively in the next few months.

We currently use Salesforce, quick books, and excel, we’ll be consolidating a lot of accounting and finance stuff into netsuite and integrating it with Salesforce

I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Please help!

What do you think about my new title? I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?
