Struggling to write an influencer brief that works! No matter how I phrase it, detailed facts, casual prompts, or open-ended directions, creators still sound scripted and robotic. I’ve rewritten it 5 times in 6 months and still can’t crack the code. How do you get influencers to speak naturally while still selling the product? Is there a secret formula for getting authentic, engaging content, or is this just the reality of influencer marketing?

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months.
